What is a node?

The Node ID represents your identity, and each computer can generate only one Node ID. This ID serves as your unique identification credential.

The Node ID is seamlessly compatible with IPFS, allowing it to be found within the IPFS ecosystem.

It can be used in both the Boerderfree and IPFS ecosystems.

The Node ID is the public key of IPFS, so it doesn’t need to be kept secret.

However, exporting the private key requires you to ensure confidentiality.

Please refer to the private key instructions.
